Wholly  Holistic

Have you been thinking of a friend and within an hour or a day that friend phones you? Do you walk into a room and sense that there has been an argument? Do you meet new people and know immediately that they are lovely, or dreadful? All these things we laugh off as coincidence, or dismiss so easily as “just one of those things”. But in fact, all of these “coincidences”, these “things” you are picking up are examples of you working within you psychic self. We are all, to a greater or lesser degree, able to tune on to other vibrations other people‘s moods and energies. Some want to tune in and some don’t, some people are unaware that they are able to do so and then become eager to learn, some just think they are not capable of this type of work and therefore progress it no further

A lot of mediums develop their gift as children because children are very spiritual beings-although it doesn’t feel like it when your little psychic being is having a temper tantrum in the middle of the supermarket! They do not put up barriers and they do not understand what a cynic is, so they are often able to “see” spirit. Many parents become concerned when little Jimmy holds lengthy conversations with a friend the parents cannot actually see, or your little treasure comes into the room and tells you that she has just seen Granddad and that he told her everything is OK. Panic can set in as Granddad passed away a year after your five- year-old was born!

There is nothing to worry about as children are like sponges and they are beautifully open and therefore if a loving grandparent wishes to become known, they may do it through a child, with love and care. Children seem to only receive the love that is available.

A lot of mediums were stopped by parents from talking to their imaginary friends, or told that what they were saying was rubbish and therefore the child understands in that unspoken way, that they are not to work with these friendly energies and they shut it out of their lives for the time being, or maybe forever. Some mediums have years of “forgetting” this childhood part of their lives and re-develop as adults. They choose at this time to once more enter into the realm of spirit and learn how to connect and develop so that they can give loving messages from passed loved ones to grieving spouses, children and friends.

The messages are given with real love and concern, sometimes being advice or just laughter and a reminder of very happy times. The message should always love, encouraging and healing. There is no medium or clairvoyant worth their salt that would give a warning of death. Even if they see it, they will not put it so bluntly. After all, they are not infallible and there is sometimes error in what spirit is trying to say and the interpretation that the medium gives. The fault is always with the living human!

In the UK, the spiritualist churches are mainly the places where developing mediums learn their trade because there they are able to attend development classes and practice in front of an audience, knowing that they are being sent love and encouragement from the audience, which helps heighten the energy so that message can be received more readily.

In Spain, this is not available, but there are those who are willingly running development classes you will learn to develop all aspects of your spiritual side, from meditation to receiving messages. You learn to trust-in your teacher, your fellow developers and most of all in spirit. You and the others in your class are there to help each other develop, with no jealousy or envy, and that too is another aspect of development.

We all have the keys to the door and the secret is that we can unlock our psychic self if we so desire it.
