Dynamic Soul Jazz RnB vocalist Adesuwa Obasekiu was born and raised in Swindon and London. She started to develop her awesome talent for song writing and poetry at the early age of 14 with her mothers encouragment . W.A.C. Weekend Arts and a Dance Foundation course at Kensington and Chelsea College. In 1992 she joined an acappella group called Innervision, performing at several major venues such as Hackney Empire, Chats Palace, and many other London clubs. After three years the group had performed on The Royal Variety Show with such names as Cilla Black, and the London Gospel Choir.She also studied singing for three years with top UK session singer Roy Hamilton,. Her greatest influences are Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Patti Labelle, Anita Baker, Whitney Houston, Nina Simone and the great Billie Holiday.
